These black mooncakes look every bit chic and they’re infused with stout beer

Great news for Guinness fans and mooncake lovers: Guinness-infused snowskin mooncakes are back by popular demand this Mid-Autumn Festival!

The key to their popularity? Each mooncake is packed with a white coffee-flavoured lotus paste, rich Guinness-infused chocolate ganache, as well as a white chocolate-infused shell. Balanced with hints of chocolate and coffee, it is little wonder that consumers absolutely loved these decadent delights. Their chic, black appearance, definitely adds an edge too!

This year, Guinness is launching the mooncakes in a beautifully crafted four-piece decorative keepsake box, which infuses art and tradition with a modern twist.

That’s not all – Guinness is offering mooncakes crafting workshops where you get to see the process for making the mini mooncakes and try your hand at making them, as well as mobile photography workshops conducted by leading food stylist C.R Tan.

These hands-on sessions will take place on August 23 & 24, with 3 sessions daily for each workshop. Attendees for both workshops will also get to take home their very own Guinness-infused goodies – sweet! If you are interested in attending the workshops, be sure to reserve your seat on get.guinness.com ASAP as seats are very limited.

These limited-edition mooncakes were such a hit with Singaporeans last year that they actually sold out very quickly, so you can expect that they will be swiftly wiped off shelves this year as well. You will have to purchase three packs of Guinness Draught (4-can pack) via online retailers such as Redmart, FairPrice Online, Qoo10 and Shopee from August 12 in order to get a FREE set of these boozy mooncakes, while stocks last!
