But, that doesn’t mean your WFH meals have to be boring. If you’re not in the mood to whip up some easy, highly appetising breakfast recipes, let us help you with our round-up of restaurant menus that are best enjoyed at home – just try not to drool when you’re browsing through this yummy list!

Heart of Darkness

Having recently revamped its menu, Heart of Darkness has pivoted to offer takeaway and delivery of its most popular items – including a variety of dishes, drinks, and platters as well as set meals featuring à la carte dishes with a bottled beer of your choice.

Blending regional Asian cuisine with American soul food, à la carte offerings include favourites such as the Bánh Bao Gà (S$16), which are juicy minced chicken dumplings with garlic, chilli, fresh coriander, and shallot served with Thai sweet chilli sauce; Spicy Lamb Skewers (S$18), chargrilled with a mixed chilli rub; and the Darkness Rendang Wagyu Burger (S$29), a 240g Wagyu patty slathered with miso butter spread, cheese sauce, and rendang sauce and piled high with cabbage slaw, crispy bacon, and egg in a charcoal bun.

Weekend bundles are also on offer exclusively from Fridays to Sundays, with a curated set of food and drinks for your crew. Craft beer lovers can choose from a wide variety of the award-winning brewery’s most popular beers such as the Dream Alone Pale Ale, Futile Purpose Cucumber Pilsner, and Kurtz Insane IPA available by the can and bottle that you can also mix and match to make a bundle of six bottles.

Not a beer fan? No problem, take your pick from Heart of Darkness’ selection of white, red, orange, and rosé wines alongside bubbles, sake, spirits, and bottled cocktails. AVENUE ONE had a chance to sample the offerings at Heart of Darkness before the ban on dining out was imposed, and you can check out our honest review here.
