The cherry blossom forecast may say that the sakura starts blossoming on March 19 in Tokyo, but Starbucks Japan has (unofficially) declared the start of spring with the release of the hotly-anticipated sakura-themed beverages and merchandise!
Here’s more good news for you (bad news for your wallet!): in addition to the sakura collection available at all Starbucks stores in Japan, Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo has also released its first own Sakura Collection including the merchandise, food and drinks inspired by Japanese cherry blossoms.

Starbucks Japan Cherry Blossom Beverages 2020
From 15 February 2020, the Sakura Milk Pudding Frappuccino (cold) and Sakura Milk Latte (hot) will be available at all Starbucks stores in Japan.
The Japan-Limited Sakura Milk Pudding Frappuccino (JPY590) is a milk-based frappuccino drink blended with cherry blossoms and strawberries sauce and milk pudding with cherry blossom extracts. It is topped with pink Arare (rice crackers) to present pink petals of cherry blossoms and served in a cherry blossom-themed cup.
Sakura Milk Latte (starts from JPY450 for short drink) is a hot non-caffeine beverage served with strawberry sauce and hot milk with a hit of cherry blossom flavour.
Starbucks Japan Cherry Blossom Merchandise 2020
The first series of Starbucks Japan Sakura Collection, named “Spring Breeze”, will be released on 15 February 2020 at Starbucks stores in Japan.
Inspired by the gentle breeze of spring and fluttering cherry blossom petals, the line-up includes tumblers and mugs that look gorgeous no matter where you place them.

In addition, Starbucks Japan will also be releasing its first collection of eco-friendly reusable cups, available as a single or a set of five cups with various pastel colours reminiscent of spring.
The set of five will retail for JPY2,800, whereas an individual one retails for just JPY350.

Exclusive to Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo, you may remember that some of these have appeared briefly on the menu when the store first opened last year!
