Another Hello Kitty theme park will be opened in Southeast Asia. Find out where it is!

Hello Kitty fans will be happy to know that Sanrio has just announced plans to open a Hello Kitty theme park in Hanoi, Vietnam. This is set to be launched in 2021 and Sanrio revealed that they have plans to build a 30,000-sqm wide indoor space for this project.

Sanrio Hello Kitty World in Hanoi will feature gaming and ride attractions, dining locations, retail stores, and a theatre. All of these attractions will mainly be featuring Hello Kitty, but you can also look forward to seeing other Sanrio characters such as My Melody and Pompompurin.

A representative from Sanrio Hello Kitty World said that we can expect experience-oriented programmes that cover transport safety and cooking that can encourage creativity among older children.

No official date of opening has been mentioned as yet. Sanrio currently operates seven Sanrio theme parks: two are in its home country, Japan, and the other five are in China, South Korea, and Malaysia.
