Newly opened Oakwood Premier Raffles Place Singapore is bringing a fresh take on luxury stays to the heart of the city, blending the comforts of residential living with the convenience of a premium hotel experience.
Located within CapitaSpring in Singapore’s bustling CBD, the property is well-positioned for business travellers seeking seamless access to the financial district, while also appealing to leisure visitors who appreciate the ease of getting around the city.

With the Civic District, Marina Bay, Chinatown and cultural landmarks such as the National Gallery Singapore, Merlion Park, and Lau Pa Sat just a short distance away, guests are never far from work, sightseeing or local experiences.
Designed to feel like a genuine home away from home, the property features spacious, apartment-style suites complete with thoughtful living amenities that make both short and extended stays feel effortless.

Guests can also enjoy lifestyle facilities including a gym and swimming pool, while direct access to CapitaSpring’s rooftop offers a rare opportunity to take in sweeping views of Singapore’s skyline and gardens.
Food lovers will find themselves equally spoilt for choice. Beyond the dining options within CapitaSpring itself, the surrounding neighbourhood offers everything from heritage hawker favourites and quick weekday lunches to trendy cafés, upscale restaurants, rooftop bars and international cuisine options that cater to every craving.
Oakwood Premier Raffles Place Review: What We Thought

During our stay, the experience delivered on its promise of both comfort and convenience. We checked into the Premier Room, a compact 25sqm space thoughtfully designed to maximise functionality without feeling cramped.
Smart, space-saving features enhance the room’s liveability, including a versatile table that doubles as a work desk or dining area and can be neatly tucked away when not in use.

Adding to the home-away-from-home experience is a well-equipped kitchenette fitted with a microwave, induction hob, sink, water dispenser, coffee machine, refrigerator, and even cookware and kitchen utensils — everything needed for a comfortable extended stay.

Check-in was seamless, setting the tone for an easy city escape. We headed out for dinner at a trendy CBD izakaya before making our way to a karaoke session at a mall just a few MRT stops away; a reminder of how well-connected the location truly is. We decided to walk back to the hotel, enjoying a quiet night walk along the Singapore River, which made for an unexpectedly relaxing end to the evening.

The next morning, breakfast offered a satisfying variety of options, while a leisurely stroll at the CapitaSpring rooftop after breakfast proved especially memorable; calm, green and surprisingly peaceful on a weekend morning above the city bustle.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to any business traveller or guests who are looking for a convenient home-away-from-home.
