LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort Is Offering Unique Experiences for Lunar New Year and Ramadan That You Can’t Miss

This Lunar New Year, LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort invites families to celebrate the Year of the Horse in a way only LEGO® can deliver — playful, imaginative and richly layered with cultural meaning. From now till 22 February 2026, the resort transforms into a brick-built festive wonderland themed around a “Garden of Prosperity”, where Lunar New Year traditions are reinterpreted through creativity, colour and hands-on fun.

Stepping into the park, guests are greeted by a joyful tapestry of glowing red lanterns, blooming cherry blossoms and intricate LEGO creations that set the tone for a month-long celebration. Anchoring the festivities is a striking 2.4-metre LEGO® Horse centrepiece, inspired by the LEGO 40779 Year of the Horse Chinese Zodiac Limited Edition set. Majestic and symbolic, the Horse represents strength, renewal and good fortune, clutching an auspicious scroll of blessings for the year ahead — and offering a must-snap photo moment for families and LEGO fans alike.

Build Your Luck, Brick by Brick

At the heart of the celebration is an interactive adventure designed to bring families together through play. Armed with an activity card, young builders and their parents can explore the park while completing creative challenges that gradually unlock the magic of the Garden of Prosperity — one brick at a time.

Festive hands-on activities include Build-A-Horse, where guests construct their own symbol of energy and courage, and LEGO Orange Tree Making, a take-home activity that lets families stack prosperity and happiness onto every branch. Cultural creativity takes centre stage at the LEGO Chinese Calligraphy Mural, while classic Minifigure Trading adds a familiar LEGOLAND favourite into the mix. For those hoping to test their luck, LEGO Horse Post & Win invites guests to snap a photo with the centrepiece for a chance to rein in weekly prizes.

From 17 to 22 February 2026, the Lunar New Year celebrations reach their most vibrant phase with the Spring Festival Spectacular, a high-energy showcase of traditional performances infused with LEGO flair. Expect crowd-pleasing Lion and Dragon Dance performances, acrobatic high-pole and stilt-walker acts, Chinese face-changing shows, ancient drum performances and live oriental music that fills the park with festive rhythm.

Adding to the atmosphere are daily live shows throughout the celebration, including Brick of Prosperity (Opening Show), Lunar Beats Spectacular, and Finale of Fortune (Farewell Show). Each performance blends colour, music and interactive moments, celebrating unity, joy and the promise of new beginnings.

Good fortune continues beyond performances and play. During Fortune Fest from 17 to 22 February 2026, guests who spend RM188 or more in a single receipt at participating retail or F&B outlets stand a chance to win LEGO sets worth up to RM800, with total prizes valued at RM10,000. It’s a festive reminder that at LEGOLAND, prosperity often comes in brick-built form.
