A Harry Potter-themed cruise will start its voyage in August and these are what fans can look forward to

Harry Potter fans, this August, a six-day Harry Potter-themed cruise will take place on a ship called the Magna Carta. The ship sets sail from London and will travel down the River Thames. Offered by The Barge Ladies, a British cruise company, the Harry Potter Magic Cruise will bring you to the iconic locations featured the popular movie franchise.

What will you see at the Harry Potter Magic Cruise

You’ll kick off the journey with a Hogwarts-inspired dinner on the ship and also a British tea, complete with scones and clotted cream.

Of course, there are several iconic places lined up for you. They include:

  • Virginia Water: This is where Harry met first met Buckbeak in The Prisoner of Azkaban
  • Picket Post Close: The location of the Dursley family home
  • Gryffindor common room
  • Dumbledore office
  • the Weasley kitchen
  • the Forbidden Forest
  • Diagon Alley
  • Oxford’s Christ Church College: the Great Hall in Oxford’s was the model that inspired Hogwarts’ Great Hall

Along the way, you’ll also get to enjoy a glass of Butterbeer, and take a look at the actual props and costumes used in all eight movies at the Warner Bros. Studios. The tour ends when you arrive at the model of the Hogwarts’ castle.
