Teresa Lim and Samantha Quek have created a series of eyewear, now retailing at Lenskart.

Each designer was given free rein to create a series of exquisite eyewear.

Teresa Lim’s creations features doodles, dots, and dashes to symbolise tears and exasperation that a girl may encounter, while highlighting the spirit of hope, life, and the light at the end of the tunnel with the clever use of a Spring colour palette.

“I wanted to create something unique and have a story to tell in terms of shape and colour. In all my frames, I have included three staple icons which you can find on the temples and nose pads of the spectacle. The first one is the heart – which represents passion, lips – empowering others through your words, and the star – which is my visual representation of the magic that is inside each and every one of us.” said Teresa.

Samantha Quek, on the other hand, has two designs, one based around the theme of liberation and the other has dark and heavy elements to signify challenges, while incorporating a floral design to signal hope and positivity.

Each limited-edition eyewear from Lenskart’s International Women’s Day collection is priced at S$248 each and will be available in all Lenskart stores islandwide including the John Jacobs store at Tampines 1, except Lenskart IMM and Toa Payoh, as well as https://lenskart.sg/, while stocks last.
