Australia is currently battling the worst bushfires seen in decades – an estimated half-billion animals that have lost their lives and more than 2,000 homes have been destroyed due to the fires.
In response to the ongoing bushfire crisis in Australia, Balenciaga has released T-shirts and hoodies that feature an image of the vulnerable Australian Koala. 100% of the sale proceeds will be donated to local conservation organisations selected by the Kering Group and Balenciaga sustainability experts.
The collection comprises of two gender-neutral pieces offered in sizes XS to L – the Printed Koala Hoodie (SGD1,090) and Printed Koala T-Shirt (SGD625).
These have been sold exclusively on Balenciaga.com since 13 January 2020, so we recommend that you buy them ASAP if you would like to contribute to the noteworthy cause while owning a set of adorable apparel.
Other brands in the Kering Group that you can shop at to help the Australian bushfires include Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Brioni, Boucheron, Pomellato, Dodo, Qeelin, Ulysse Nardin and Girard-Perregaux.
