Super Star K is hugely raved about for premium quality meats, at a relatively affordable price, featuring cuts like prime beef (SGD 29), beef ribs (SGD 36), the famed kurobuta (SGD 29) and salted pork neck (SGD 19).

We’d be hard pressed to find almost anyone who doesn’t like cheese (we think). Because for those who do: this is your paradise. Barbecued meats with loads of stringy cheese? Sign us up.

Seorae Galmaegi isn’t just famous for its cheese moat though (although we think that’s reason enough to want to go there!), it brands itself on its namesake.

It is the first Korean BBQ restaurant to serve Galmaegi-sal (SGD 21.90), a unique part of the pig between its ribs and belly that was only served to the Royal Family of Korean in ancient times, which Seorae Galmaegi has now brought to us commoners.

This is another one for the cheese-lovers – it also has a cheese moat where you can dunk your meats (or whatever you want) in it, scoop it up, then chomp it all down in one go!

Another family-style restaurant, what differentiates Bigmama from other restaurants is its good selection of food and meats, as well as its service. We are talking about their bubbly Korean manager who will greet you, as well as recommend dishes, if you’re undecided – truly feeling like the family-style restaurant that it is.

It also allows you to choose how to cook your meats, between the healthier oven-roasted meats or charcoal grilling.

8 Eight Korean BBQ is where you wanna go if you’re a meat connoisseur – or if you straight up just want to try bougie meat, like their specialty meat – the Mangalitza pork meat (SGD 45), a meat of Hungarian origin.

What’s special about the Mangalitza meat is its sheer tenderness and juiciness of the pork, often called the Kobe beef of pork, with twice the amount of marbling than regular pork.

But wait, that’s not all – they also offer three types of premium beef – Argentinian beef (SGD 58), US prime beef (SGD 42), and melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu beef (SGD 110).

Meat lovers (and non-meat lovers!) – you’re sure not to regret coming here.

Frankly speaking, we feel the perfect marbling on the beef prime rib (SGD 52) speaks for itself already, and if you aren’t already salivating by now, we think you need to get yourself checked. Now.

CHANG Restaurant is another place which serves up premium cuts of meats, for a pretty steep price, but honestly? Worth. Every. Penny, we’d say.
