But while hotel stays are typically devoted for the weekend to let loose and unwind, we’ve noticed a growing trend of hotels all over Singapore offering “Work-From-Hotel” packages. What’s that? Read on to find out if that’s just what you need!
What does it mean to work-from-hotel
Work is coming in hot as the economy kicks back up. The September school holidays are just around the corner. Meals are waiting to be prepared for the young ones multiple times a day. And the WiFi at home is suffering from the occasional breakdown from what seems to suspiciously be an overuse.
Everyone from young to old is home and there seems to be a lack of personal space for even an ounce of concentration, especially when work hours roll around. If that sounds like you, you probably can benefit from a little break from this chaos.
As the global pandemic continues to disrupt the rhythm of our everyday life, many of us are constantly in adaptation mode, with one of the massive changes being adjusting to the transformation of our homes into our workplace. Something we’re definitely keeping our eye on for the rest of our WFH period is the Ascott Hotels in Singapore.
Having launched in several Asia countries from Thailand to Japan, the Work in Residence programme is available for daytime stays, offering affordable rates for rental from 9am to 6pm alongside F&B perks and amenities.
Although this package has yet to reach Singapore shores, we’re definitely checking back to Ascott’s social media pages in anticipation!
