Loewe has just launched a new project – Weave, Restore, Renew – that is all about bringing new life to things that are forgotten or discarded.
Each basket they make are reinvented piece by piece, taken apart and reassembled by the skilled hands of passionate artisans.
They are made using the traditional Korean Jiseung technique, which consists of finely weaving strings of paper to create household objects. The design is inspired by the beautiful silhouettes of traditional Korean earthenware crock.
Our favourite collection is from the Jar Basket collection – stylish and not too bulky.

Furla sustainable bags
Since 2018, Furla has been producing more environmentally friendly bags using recycled and biodegradable materials.
With their sustainable collection expanding with every passing year, you can now easily get that bag you like without the worry of its impact on the environment.
One of our favourite collections in this series is the FURLA Linea Futura bags.
The bag is minimalist, functional, and available in eleven gorgeous shades. These are made with precious reclaimed leather that has been reworked in compliance with GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification.

Summer-Inspired Kids Collection by Love, Bonito
Love, Bonito launched its new kids summer collection in June, which includes a line of kids swimwear.
The materials used include rayon and drapey summer denim, which are light and breathable, maximising comfort. These are designed to help to absorb moisture from the skin while making your skin feel cooler.
There are also matching pieces for mothers as well, if you like going for that matchy-matchy style.

UNIQLO and MARNI Collection
UNIQLO launches its first-ever collaborative collection with Italian luxury fashion brand, MARNI. This collection features apparels that are bold and playful, in a distinctively MARNI style.
Our favourite item in the women’s collection is the Balloon Skirt (S$99.90). It has diagonal pleating that give it a light and volume-enhancing look and can be matched with a sleeveless blouse in the same colour palette for a coordinated look.
For the men’s collection, we like the Pocketable Parka (S$79.90). It is a vibrant and versatile item that pairs well with shorts for a summer look. This is available in blue and green.
