SAF Day is coming soon on the 1 July and there are deals and promotions exclusive to all NSF personnel that you do NOT want to miss!
For those out of the loop, SAF Day is a programme that allows and encourage different segments of the community to demonstrate their support for the National Service Force and acknowledge our NSmen’s contributions to the defence of Singapore.
It was inspired by Mr. Tan Bee Seng, who runs a chicken rice stall in Bedok Food Centre, who has been voluntarily giving discounts or extra portions of rice and ingredients to national servicemen without their asking, in appreciation of their duties to Singapore.
Today, the number of companies that participate in this programme has grown from 21 pioneer companies back in 2013, to 552 companies just last year.
Avenue One has scoped out 13 of the best deals on SAF Day that you should be looking out for, for the entire month of July.
1. 10% total bill at Saveur
Those looking for a good ol’ hearty meal are in luck: Saveur is known for its comforting French cuisine and will be having a promotion for 10% off the entire total bill, for ALL menu items!
Specialties include its signature duck confit (SGD 18.90), beef bourguignon (SGD 20.90), and their Original Saveur Pasta, a Japanese-French fusion pasta with Sakura Ebi and Chili Oil (SGD 5.90) for the mains.
