We’re certain that most – if not all – of us in Singapore are pretty familiar with Marks & Spencer and its assortment of imported food, clothing, and home products that we all have come to know and love.
This year, the iconic British retailer has given its flagship store at Wheelock Place a facelift, bringing an even bigger and better range of imported goods to Singapore consumers.
Ahead, we share all that you can expect to find when you shop at the revamped outlet – Halloween goodies for your party included!
What’s new in the refreshed Marks & Spencer store at Wheelock Place
The newly revamped outlet now boasts a contemporary look and feel, with all-new interiors designed to give you an optimised shopping experience by showcasing the very best of the British brand.
The variety of products you can find here is simply jaw-dropping; there are more than 3,800 premium food products including Marks & Spencer’s top-sellers and all-time favourites in addition to over 1,000 chilled foods as well as fresh fruits and vegetables.
At the refreshed store, you’ll also find a full range of home products and the retailer’s much-loved clothing range that offers both classic and trendy styles.
After shopping, you have the option to drop into the M&S Café at Wheelock Place for a full meal or a tea-time break.
Unique quality food
The new 8,000 square feet Food Hall at Marks & Spencer Wheelock Place is its biggest ever in Singapore, highlighting the outstanding quality and freshness of Marks & Spencer’s food selection.
This revamped space offers foodies access to the best of Marks & Spencer’s mouth-watering food with the addition of over 500 new chilled lines focusing on cheeses, deli, fruits, yoghurt, and fresh vegetables.
As mentioned, there are over 3,800 food products now available in-store, including the retailer’s chilled prepared meals inspired by popular world cuisines such as Indian, Chinese, and Italian as well as staples like pasta, rice, and noodles.
At the same time, you’ll also find British favourites such as Scottish smoked salmon, beef, and lamb that are expertly sourced for Marks & Spencer from farms in New Zealand as well as cheddar cheese, shortbread, scones, and crumpets.
Cheese-lovers will also love the new Marks & Spencer store, as it now houses a new cheese barge that will showcase the retailer’s best cheese selection ever, with new and improved cheeses handpicked from Europe’s best cheesemakers and added to the existing range.
In addition to finding unique cheeses such as Marmite Cream Cheese, Luxury Smoked Cheese, and Bavarian Smoked Cheese, you can also match your cheese with Marks & Spencer’s new in-house wine range, ‘Found’, which offers a supermarket first: a single varietal Nerello Cappuccio.
From Italian pasta to indulgent frozen desserts, you can pick up a wide selection of kitchen favourites as well such as marinades and sauces, canned goods, soups, cereals, cake mixes, and dessert toppings. These delicious staples are guaranteed to make it even easier to impress any guests if you’re hosting.
Marks & Spencer’s popular in-store bakery and coffee bar will also serve up a selection of coffees and teas alongside breads that are freshly baked on-site every day, as well as a selection of pastries, shortbreads, scones, pies, and cookies.
If you’re looking for healthier alternatives, the wellness department in the store offers plant-based products from the retailer’s Plant Kitchen and organic ranges as well as gluten-free options.
Expanded homeware range
Making a house feel like home is all about the thoughtful touches and with this in mind, Marks & Spencer aims to be the one-stop shop for all your interior design dreams with its expanded homeware range.
Makeover your bedroom with eye-catching bedding sets featuring vibrant prints, or keep things low-key with serene neutrals, while the home fragrance range of scented candles and aromatic reed diffusers instantly uplift a room.
When it comes to tableware, make mealtimes a chic affair with basics – plates, bowls, and mugs – in classic white porcelain, then add character to your settings with patterned crockery, or try mixing and matching colours if you prefer an eclectic look.
To introduce luxurious sleep comfort to your bedroom, you can count on Marks & Spencer’s offering of luxury fitted sheets made with fine quality pure Egyptian cotton.
You can also enjoy spa-like luxury from your very own bathroom with the retailer’s range of premium Egyptian cotton towels. Made with thick, absorbent yarn and a super-plush pile, they feel extra gentle and ultra-smooth against the skin.
With a StayNew technology, Marks & Spencer promises that your towels and fitted sheets will stay smooth, bright, and looking good as new, wash after wash.
A mix of classic and trendy fashion pieces
Trusted quality, value, and confident styles have always been at the heart of Marks & Spencer’s clothing range.
This season, you can choose from timeless wardrobe staples like the cotton floral midi tiered dress to trendy style pieces including the linen blend printed shift dress.
The refreshed store also has a corner dedicated to denim and for this season, you’ll come across lighter washes and relaxed shapes alongside Marks & Spencer’s best-loved denim pieces.
Customer-favourite lingerie collections, offering the ultimate in style and comfort, are also available on the premise.
The stylish everyday lingerie fits like a second skin, using the softest, lightest fabrics, underpinned by the brand’s innovative Cool Comfort technology to keep you cool and fresh by wicking moisture away from the skin.
For menswear, discover lightweight knitwear for a touch of luxurious softness for cooler days, whilst linen pieces offer timeless looks for any occasion.
The anchor clip shirt and casual palm revere shirt gives an effortless laid-back style, perfect for relaxing weekends about town.
The store’s clothing collections will also feature a host of clever product innovations that are more sustainable. 100% of Marks & Spencer cotton is part of the Better Cotton Initiative, supporting sustainable cotton practices that are better for the farmers and the planet, while the denim ranges are made using smarter technology to reduce water use.
A comprehensive baby shop
Being a supermarket for families, Marks & Spencer certainly hasn’t forgotten about your kiddos and it has expanded its kids’ corner to include more offerings for the little ones.
Keep your little ones looking cute in a two-piece palm tree print outfit made from organic cotton, or dress them up in pretty colours and prints with the pure cotton bodysuits, perfect for warmer days as they feature short sleeves with collar overlaps and popper fastenings at the gusset for easy changing.
Or, check out the Slam Dunk collection for cool kids to celebrate the highly anticipated new Warner Brothers’ film, “Space Jam: A New Legacy”. This range features playful graphics and slogans across a range of responsibly sourced cotton T-shirts as well as basketball style shorts.
Percy Pig’s new partyware range
In conjunction with the revamp, Marks & Spencer is also enlisting the help of everyone’s favourite character, Percy Pig, who will be introducing an all-new partyware range that includes plates, cups, straws, and napkins.
The collection covers Colin Caterpillar bakes and gums, as well as Percy Pig biscuits, confectionaries, dessert sauce, sprinkles and even a phizzy pop too, so you know where to shop next for your little one’s upcoming birthday party!
The spook-tacular Halloween collection you can expect at Marks & Spencer this year

For party treats that will make your tastebuds tingle with pleasure, there’s a whole new range of chocolates and sweets waiting for you to experience this Halloween.
Indulge in a risky game of roulette with the sweet and sour Colin the Caterpillar’s Roulette (S$4.90), or go for a spookier route with fruit-flavoured Sour Spiders and ghoulish Milk Ghosts (S$3.90 each).
