Flag Off Grand Prix Season in Singapore with the LEGO Pop-Up Experience

With the much-anticipated return of the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix this September, excitement is building across the island. Beyond the roar of the engines, an exhilarating pop-up experience awaits motorsport fans and LEGO enthusiasts alike at Wisma Atria, along Orchard Road.

From 13 to 22 September, The LEGO Group and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team are set to present the LEGO Technic Grand ‘Brix’ Pop-Up Experience, a must-visit attraction as part of the Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS).

LEGO Play Meets Formula 1

One of the highlights of this unique pop-up is a life-sized LEGO replica of the Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance car, a jaw-dropping creation that took 15 expert builders 2,428 hours to complete. Standing at an impressive 5.1 metres in length and 2.2 metres in width, this model showcases the best of both worlds: Formula 1 engineering precision and LEGO’s creative magic. Crafted from a staggering 192,937 LEGO bricks, the display features intricate details, including a LEGO steering wheel with rotatable selectors and shifting pedals, allowing visitors to appreciate the craftsmanship behind this colossal build.

Visitors will have the chance to engage with a variety of interactive stations that are designed to put their racing skills to the test. The LEGO Race Training station challenges participants to race against the clock and complete a light-based reflex challenge. At the LEGO Build for Speed station, players can experience the adrenaline of a pit stop by swiftly replacing the tires on a LEGO vehicle. The top three fastest challengers will win a 42165 Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance Pull Back set—an exciting prize for motorsport and LEGO fans alike.

For those with a flair for design, the LEGO Car Racing station offers the chance to create and race custom-built LEGO vehicles. Compete with friends and family and share your racing achievements on social media with hashtags #LEGOSG and #LEGOF1SG. Visitors who complete all four interactive missions can redeem a Formula 1-themed sticker sheet, and don’t forget to collect an exclusive F1 Singapore Grand ‘Brix’ stamp for your LEGO Passport.
