Calling all music lovers! The LEGO Group recently announced its latest product that you will want to covet: meet the new LEGO Ideas Fender Stratocaster set that allows you to assemble the iconic guitar!
You’ll definitely recognise the iconic Fender Stratocaster guitar – after all, it’s been famously played by music legends such as George Harrison from the Beatles and is now even the industry-standard guitar sound for music across genres.
Since its establishment in 1954, the Stratocaster has cemented its position at the top of the guitar chain with its distinctive shape being synonymous with electric guitars themselves. And thanks to LEGO, it is now immortalised and meticulously reimagined in the form of LEGO bricks.
The toy guitar features six strings, poseable tuning pegs, and a tremolo arm for all the distortion you can handle. Plus, there is also a folding display stand, and an accompanying foot pedal and amp.
The amplifier’s back and top covers can also be removed to show its inner speaker code, wiring, and intricate details such as the tubes, speaker, and motherboard.
This LEGO creation is the result of a LEGO Ideas competition, courtesy of a fan designer Tomáš Letenay from Slovakia who always wanted to own a Fender Stratocaster growing up but could never afford it.
“The Stratocaster was my gateway into music and I love seeing my LEGO design with the stand. I am hoping that other guitar fans get as much joy out of building it as I have,” Tomáš shared in an official press release.
As for the availability, mark your calendars because the LEGO Ideas Fender Stratocaster set will only hit stores in Singapore from 1 October 2021. It will retail for S$179.90 at all LEGO Certified Stores islandwide.
