i12 Katong will be undergoing a soft launch of 180 stores before the mall’s grand opening in March 2022, and you can expect some exciting new concepts to be introduced to this retail mall.

Never-before-seen concepts

Golden Village’s new music lounge

We all know Golden Village (GV) to be the largest cinema operator in Singapore with 12 multiplexes and cineplexes islandwide. It’s the place we go to for the latest movies and delicious popcorn.

However, as part of its efforts to promote and support our local entertainment and art scene, GV is expanding its operations to include a ‘live’ performance space within its exclusive Gold Class Lounge. The outlet at i12 Katong will be the first in Singapore to be part of this expansion.

That’s right, other than watching movies on the big screen, you’ll be able to catch live performances of some of your local favourites at this venue.

With an exceptional sound system, the live performances are going to be fully immersive. All you have to do is kick back and enjoy.

Core Clinic

You’ve heard of coworking spaces, but have you heard of a medical coworking space?

i12 Katong will be home to Singapore’s first medical coworking space called Core Clinic where medical specialists will be able to gain access to a larger community of patients and professionals in a cost-effective and flexible manner.

They will also get to connect with the extensive network of Singapore Medical Group which includes more than 50 specialists spread out across 45 clinics in Singapore from 25 medical specialties.

Mr Woofles

Make way for Mr Woofles, Singapore’s first dog club and daycare where you can conveniently leave your pets there while you head to work.

After spending so much time working from home, your pets will probably be sad that you will be leaving them at home alone once again for work.

To cheer them up, you can drop them off at Mr Woofles where they can bond with other dogs and momentarily forget about the sadness!

You can also be assured that the environment is a nurturing one, and that the staff are experts with a strong passion in caring for the overall well-being of dogs.

There’s a playground in the centre, along with other exciting events that you can take part in with your pet to socialise with other pet owners and their pets.

Art exhibits

To enhance the experience for customers, i12 Katong is also going to feature a series of art exhibits within the mall, something that has never really been done before.

The art exhibits are done in collaboration with local art gallery, Sound of Art, and the first exhibition is themed In The Beginning where visitors can view the works of emerging and established artists from all over Asia.
