What your favourite celebrities are doing to cope with quarantine life

It may only be a few days into circuit breaker, and while some of us are thankful for the extra minutes of sleep, others may already feel the boredom setting in.

What better way to jazz up your day than to take inspiration from your favourite celebs? Here’s what stars like Kylie Jenner and influencer Naomi Neo have been doing to cope with work from home.

Naomi Campbell

The lithe model is notorious for being a clean freak (she thoroughly cleans her airplane seats and gym equipment on a regular basis!), and she has been especially vigilant during the COVID-19 outbreak.

However, during her free time, the The Face judge has been catching up on baking. Check out her recipe for banana pudding below!

Omi’s Banana Pudding #CookingWithNaomi & @ghettogastro Ingredients: 1 Box of Nilla Wafer 3 Cups Heavy Cream 1 x 14oz condensed milk (sweet) 4 to 5 cups of sliced banana 1.5 cups of water 1  box of vanilla instant pudding Vanilla essence Nutmeg Cinnamon In a large bowl, mix together the condensed milk and water. Then add the pudding mix, mix/beat well for 2 to 3 minutes. Cover it and place it in the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours. In another large bowl, whip the cream. Gentle whisk and add a dash of nutmeg, a fair amount of cinnamon and slight bit of vanilla essence to the mix. And place the the now whipped cream into the pudding. In another bowl, cover the bottom with with about 1/3 of the vanilla wafers. On top of the wafers, layer a row of bananas and 1/3 of the pudding mix. Repeat the process 2 more times. Add some wafer pieces and bananas to the top. Cover the bowl tightly and allow to chill for 4 to 6 hours. #cookingathome #desert #bananapuddingcups

Quarantine is the perfect time to make hair decisions that you may just regret. Take a leaf out of the model’s book and grab some temporary hair dye in a crazy colour (or two). The great thing about temporary dye is that it’ll wash out by the end of the month, and it’ll be like nothing ever happened!

Likewise, you can give your skinny jeans or tailored pants a break, and slip into something for comfortable, like sweatpants or shorts instead. No one is going to judge!

Have a Zoom meeting? Simply change into a more work-appropriate blouse or shirt (you can even dress it up with earrings) for a camera-ready look in a minute.

Sometimes, you don’t need fun or grand things to keep you busy: take it from the rising supermodel and practise gratitude for what you already have. Take this time at home to ground yourself by meditating, or just having “me time”.
