These new Sanrio silicone pouches are so cute, you might just keep them for yourself instead of giving them to your kids

For all die-hard Sanrio fans out there, we’re sure you’ll be smiling from ear to ear with this news: 7-Eleven is rolling out special-edition Sanrio merchandise for you to cop!

Just like how we used to make our way to the nearest 7-Eleven stores to buy the most random of things just to collect mini stamps to redeem cute merchandise like the Mr Men & Little Miss and Disney collections, the upcoming Sanrio series will also be redeemable via the convenience store’s ‘Shop and Earn’ stamp programme.

One of the things from the collection that caught our eye? These silicone zip pouches!

Colourful, simple, and functional, these zip pouches are so chic and cute that everyone, regardless of age, will love – more so if you’re a Sanrio fan!

The full line-up comes with eight wildly popular characters for you to collect, including the world-famous Hello Kitty, the iconic bedtime duo Little Twin Stars, and even Pompompurin the easygoing beret-wearing pup.

Made to fit your everyday lifestyle, these silicone pouches show off an adorable design at the front but come with a functional back that features a 12-cm tall zipper that lets you store all your nitty-gritty items such as keys, coins, and even mini bottles of hand sanitiser – perfect for a time like now.

It also comes with a sturdy loop on the top of the pouch, making it easy to hook onto your bag, so you won’t have to rummage through it to locate smaller, harder-to-find items. If your silicone pouch gets a bit dirty, not to fret because these pouches are washable!

So, how exactly do you go about redeeming one of your own? It’s pretty simple: earn a stamp with every S$5 spent and then just top up an additional S$8.90 once you’ve collected five stamps to get your very own Sanrio zip pouch. Do note that the design is going to be given out at random.

Besides the loveable zip pouches, you can also get your hands on other exclusive merchandise such as this lilac-hued Little Twin Stars lunchbox that comes with an accompanying lid adorned with adorable prints of the duo.

There’s also a saccharine-looking tote bag which can be very useful for supermarket runs or even for a simple day out where it would add a vibrant pop of colour to your outfit.

You can start collecting stamps for the Sanrio collection beginning this Wednesday (9 June) at over 340 7-Eleven stores islandwide. Do note that transactions that involve items such as cigarettes, parking coupons, bill payments and top-up services, lottery sales, pre-orders, food delivery app orders, and figurine redemptions with a cash top-up are all not qualified for stamp collection.

Collection of stamps ends on 3 August while redemption ends on 10 August, but all merchandise are given out on a while stocks last basis, so we suggest you mark your calendar and head down to your nearest 7-Eleven stores when the collection launches later this week!
