Minecraft took the world by storm back in 2009 when it was launched as it offered one of the rarest gaming experiences. Unlike other games with a storyline and quests to accomplish, Minecraft allowed you to explore infinite worlds and build everything from a simple home to a grand castle. You could do anything that you wanted in the free world, making it a unique game of the time.
Even after 13 years, Minecraft is still loved by many of all ages, and if you’re an avid Minecraft adventurer and explorer, you’re in for a really great piece of news.
PUMA has recently joined hands with Minecraft to launch an exciting streetwear collection that features apparel and footwear for adventurers and explorers of all ages. That’s right, get ready for one of the biggest crossovers between virtual and reality ever!
PUMA x Minecraft streetwear collection
Sneakers
One of the most exciting pieces you can look forward to is PUMA’s iconic Suede sneakers that will come in two Minecraft designs. The first design sees the crowd-favourite dressed up in colours representing the main building blocks of Minecraft – dirt, grass, and water. As such, the main colourway of the sneakers is brown, green, and blue.
The green on the sneakers is pixelated to place more emphasis on the aesthetic of the popular game, and the blue accent between the green design mimics a water stream running in between, making this pair truly unique. Take a closer look and you’ll also notice that the sneakers have randomised checkered printing along the sides and lining, giving it a textured look.
Another interesting feature of the sneakers is the ‘Creeper’ face graphic on the tongue labels in place of PUMA’s usual logo. The graphic is also seen on a small flap near the top of the eyelets.
The other pair of sneakers represents an additional building block of Minecraft – stone. This pair comes in sleek grey with blue pixelated accents, making this a slightly more subtle Minecraft look than the first pair.
Similar to the first, you’ll also notice that it has randomised checkered printing along the sides and lining, as well as a ‘Creeper’ face graphic on both the tongue labels and the small flap.
These two sneakers will be available in both adult sizes and kid sizes. For kids, the RS-Z will also be included in the collection.
Apparel
Show off your love for the game with hoodies, graphic tees, and even sweatpants emblazoned with beloved characters from Minecraft, including ‘Creeper’.
These are also available in family sizes, so you can purchase them for yourself and your little ones to match!
PUMA x Minecraft DLC
After you’ve purchased your own set of PUMA x Minecraft streetwear, be sure to also download the free PUMA x Minecraft – Sprint Dash DLC map on Minecraft so that your in-game character will be able to visit a virtual PUMA store and be styled in cool PUMA skins as well.
There are also three interactive maps included in the DLC where you can race your friends through caves and cliffs, a cityscape, and a jungle.

PUMA x Minecraft collection release date
The exclusive collection will be available a month from now on 19 March 2022, and you can purchase the products online on PUMA, or purchase them in-store at PUMA outlets located at Bugis, Marina Bay Sands, United Square, VivoCity, ION Orchard, Jewel Changi Airport, and TANGS Singapore.
The items within the collection are priced rather reasonably, from S$49 to S$179, so you definitely wouldn’t be breaking the bank as you attempt to show your love and appreciation for the popular game.
So mark your calendars and be sure to get them once the collection is released!
