Those who have been frequenting IMM will be happy to see the new Nike Unite concept store. The newly refurbished outlet is a first-of-its-kind Nike store in Southeast Asia. Spanning 18,000 sq ft, the store has a unique layout that aims to inspire local communities to make sport a daily habit.
One of the most glaring difference would probably be how 50 per cent of floor space is dedicated to women and kids.
With half of the store staff being female, the new store is now able to provide female customers with access to specialist services such as bra fitting and personal styling.
Nike Unite also brings the first-of-its-kind, tech-enabled NikeFit shoe fitting service to IMM.
The scanning solution uses a proprietary combination of computer vision, machine learning and recommendation algorithms that measures the full shape of both feet to determine the perfect fit for each shoe style.
If you’re looking for a unique purchase, check out the assortment of tees in the IMM store that carry country name prints from Southeast Asia. These are sold in reusable pouches and can be collected from the grab-and-go section located near the entrance.
If you’re a Nike member, you can even personalise a T-shirt using one of the iconic Nike heritage decals or by having your name and favourite number heat pressed.
The new Nike Unite concept store is located at #02-50 IMM and is open from 10am to 10pm daily.
