Here are 10 experiences you can bring your loved ones to attend for a unique Christmas

Sometimes, the best gift isn’t something physical, but rather, something that you feel. In other words, the best gift is sometimes the experience of something new. This Christmas, instead of buying a gift for your loved one, how about spending time with them at one of these workshops and creating something together?

1. Brass Lion X’mas GINgle (alcohol tasting experience)

Attention to all gin-lovers! Local alcohol brand Brass Lion Distillery is organising an event called the Brass Lion X’mas GINgle. In this year’s programme line-up, you can opt to have The Gin Tree experience where you enjoy a selection of Ginspired food and cocktails that are served in their custom one-of-a-kind Brass Lion Gin Tree. One ticket will admit two people, so it’s best you bring a buddy who loves gin as much as you to this event!

Prefer getting your hands dirty and learning something new? Opt for the GINgle Gin School instead. The class starts off with a Christmas cocktail and a gin tasting flight to celebrate the joy of the season. You’ll then be guided by Brass Lion’s skilled gin-structors and at the end of the class, you’ll be able to distill your very own bottle of gin!

The Gin Tree experience is S$68 for two while the GINgle Gin School is S$260 for a ticket. Slots are filling fast so it’s best that you book as soon as possible.

The experiences will all take place at 40 Alexandra Terrace, Singapore 119933. You can click here to take a look at the other programmes available.

4. Arudio (ceramic pottery workshop)

Anyone who has watched Ghost, the 1990 American romantic fantasy thriller film would have once imagined themselves to be in that famous romantic pottery scene in the film where Sam (played by Patrick Swayze) embraces Molly (played by Demi Moore) as she sculpts wet clay.

Other than perfumes, there’s another workshop you can do that is related to scents. And that’s candle making! Instead of just making a unique scent that can only be used when you head out of the house, why not make one that you can smell even as you laze around or work from home?

With more than 100 fragrances to choose from, you can be sure that you’ll be spoilt for choices on the scent you can make. You can even choose from different types of vessels to store your candle in.
