Light up your Instagram feed with more than 2,000 Tsum Tsum lanterns at VivoCity

Mid-autumn festival is coming (it falls on 24 September). Besides savouring mooncakes, lighting lanterns is another traditional way of celebrating this festival. But if you’re looking for something that’s more Instagram-worthy and very family-friendly? Maybe visit VivoCity.

The mall has put up a display at its SkyPark, located at level 3, with more than 2,000 Tsum Tsum lanterns. The display has already begun and will be there till 30 September.

Apart from classic characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, the other Tsum Tsum characters you can look forward to include Chip & Dale, Bambi, and Dumbo.

There are four different zones for you to explore:

1. Wishing Wonderland

Frozen fans? This is located at the water feature area of the SkyPark and features lanterns of Anna, Elsa, Sven, and Olaf.

You can also get a wishing card for S$2, write down your wish and put it in the “Wishing Wonderland” pond. All proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Cancer Foundation.

2. Tunnel of Love

Probably the most Instagram-worthy part of the entire display, this is a 40-metre tunnel laced with a variety of Tsum Tsum lanterns featuring more than 30 of the most popular Disney and Pixar characters like Nemo (from Finding Nemo) and Eeyore (from Winnie the Pooh).

3. Fairytale Garden

Fans of Disney princesses can’t miss this themed area, where you can find Snow White and the seven dwarfs, Jasmine on the magic carpet with Aladdin and Genie, Beauty and the Beast, and Mulan on a Chinese pavilion with Li Shang and Mushu.

4. #CoupleGoals

Finally, complete the Disney experience with the iconic Mickey and Minnie Mouse at the display. This features a 10-metre tall centrepiece of the everyone’s favourite couple made out of 1,500 lanterns, which holds a new record in Asia Book of Records as the Largest Lantern Sculpture.

The display is located at SkyPark (Level 3) of VivoCity and will be available from now till 30 September.
