The Phantom of the Opera Returns to Singapore for a Limited Run in May 2025

The Phantom of the Opera, one of the world’s most iconic and beloved musicals, is set to make a triumphant return to Marina Bay Sands in May 2025. Presented by Base Entertainment Asia in association with The Really Useful Group and Crossroads Live, this highly anticipated production will run for a strictly limited season at the Sands Theatre.

First staged in Singapore in 2013 and again in 2019, The Phantom of the Opera has become a perennial favourite among local audiences. Its captivating story of passion, mystery, and unrequited love, combined with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s timeless score, continues to resonate deeply. Audiences can expect to be swept away once more by the soaring melodies and spellbinding drama of this musical masterpiece.

Based on Gaston Leroux’s classic novel Le Fantôme de L’Opéra, the musical tells the haunting tale of a disfigured musical genius who dwells beneath the Paris Opera House. His obsession with the beautiful young soprano, Christine, leads to a gripping love triangle filled with jealousy, madness, and heartache.

Jonathan Roxmouth, celebrated for his portrayal of the Phantom, will once again don the iconic mask, while the role of Christine will be performed by Grace Roberts. They will be joined by a stellar ensemble of 37 performers from around the globe, promising a world-class performance.
