Playing tourist in Singapore doesn’t have to break the bank – just check out these attractive ongoing promotions!

Just because you can’t travel out of the country doesn’t mean you have to stay cooped up at home just bingeing on Netflix and your favourite ice cream or munchies (not that there’s anything wrong with that!).

This month, why don’t you step out for some fresh air and play tourist in your own country with your friends or family?

Going outdoors not only gives you a change of scenery (especially for those who have been working from home since the lockdown), it also lets you spend some quality time with your loved ones soaking up new experiences and learning new things in a different setting.

In fact, the Singapore government is starting to encourage people to go out a little bit more and visit local attractions and places of interest by giving out S$100 worth of tourism credits called SingapoRediscovers Vouchers to all locals aged 18 and above.

The best part? You don’t even have to wait in line to collect these vouchers – you can collect them digitally via SingPass from December onwards. Sweet!

And if that’s not enough, various attractions on the island have already welcomed the government initiative by offering exciting promotions, one-for-one deals, and bundle offers to help you let loose in the new normal while keeping to your budget.

Ahead, we’ve done the homework for you and rounded up the best ongoing offers from the top attraction and activity operators that have been approved by Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to reopen.

Here’s your chance to rediscover the best of Singapore without breaking the bank!

Psst… We’ve also got a guide on the best Singapore staycation deals and promotions to check out. For the full tourist experience (minus the actual throng of foreigners), book a staycation and explore our little red dot a little more!
