Shilin Night Market will be popping up in Singapore. Here’s what to expect

Shilin Ye Shi (or Shilin Night Market) is one of the most popular night markets in Taiwan, and you’ll definitely see it in the must-visit list of any Taipei travel guide.

The popular night market, known for famous Taiwanese street food and setting snack trends, will be popping up in Singapore this April. Organised by Invade, which also brought us Artbox, this pop-up night market is described as the “most anticipated pop-up market of the year” by its organisers.

In a Facebook post, Invade states that visitors can look forward to “a taste of Taiwan with elements of local twist”. Besides Taiwanese street delicacies, visitors can also expect Singaporean street food, creative eats, pop up artisanal stores, arcade games, and movie screenings.

According to its Fleawhere listing, Invade has put up more than 130 booths for booking.

Details of the Shilin Night Market pop-up is as follows:

Dates: 19 Apr to 21 Apr (Good Friday to Easter Sunday), 26 Apr to 28 Apr (following weekend)
Time: 3pm to 11pm
Venue: The Grounds @ Kranji (Singapore Turf Club)
