If you’re a working adult in the CBD area, chances are you’re familiar with Republic Plaza (RP), one of Singapore’s tallest skyscrapers located in the heart of Raffles Place. But don’t be surprised if you’re greeted with a completely new interior the next time you enter the building.
Following a SGD70 Million transformation by City Developments Limited (CDL), the 66-storey RP has unveiled a new look – starting with the lobby, arrival frontage, lift modernisations, as well as an impressive array of dining options to boot. Previously consisting of just 15 F&B outlets, the new number of tenants has more than doubled with 32 F&B outlets in one building.
Here’s what makes the new and improved RP different from its old version.
Close to 40 F&B + retail outlets
The retail enclave across three levels houses close to 40 F&B and retail outlets, including new-to-the market food concepts, as indicated in this complete list:
Offering a variety of local and international cuisines, dining options include household names like Starbucks, TWG Tea, MOS Burger, Dimbulah, Cedele, Cafe Amazon, and Din Tai Fung.
Coming hot off the heels of Din Tai Fung’s latest win of Singapore’s Best Fried Rice Award, their new XO Fried Rice with Shrimps and Eggs will be available from 1 to 31 October 2019 at the RP outlet.
Wholesome Lunch Options
Staying healthy and eating clean is not an easy feat for most busy adults, but with the wholesome new food tenants in RP that can’t be found anywhere else in Singapore, it might be a little less challenging for you to get that healthy lunch fix.
Eat clean at these new choices such the brand new Heybo, where you can build your own hearty, yet healthy bowls filled with delectable flavours, as well as BIGDADDY, to satisfy your protein bowl cravings while getting a shot for the ‘gram.

New CityNexus App for easier lunches
During the launch event of RP, we adored the juicy lemongrass chicken in the Kampong Table samples from Heybo, and the delectably crumbly fruit tarts from Dimbulah Coffee! Interested in all these yummy food but hate queuing up and waiting in line for your food?
Then try the new CityNexus app – The ‘Order-Pay-Collect’ function allows you to pre-order your meals from selected RP F&B outlets. Simply pick it up when it’s ready! Lunchtimes just got a whole lot easier.
This app also includes other innovative services such as air-con extension requests, dedicated VIP Parking lot bookings, meeting-room bookings, and more.
Singapore’s Largest LED Wall in an Office Building
Besides the variety of dining options now available in RP, you will also see Singapore’s largest Ultra High Definition (UHD) LED Wall in an office building. The new RP also unveiled a Founders Gallery at the lobby, which pays tribute to late Mr Kwek Hong Png, founder of the Hong Leong Group.
