A New World of Minion Madness
Stepping into Minion Land is like diving straight into the animated universe of the Despicable Me films. Exclusive to Universal Studios Singapore, visitors can experience never-before-seen attractions, including Buggie Boogie, the world’s first Minion dance party-themed carousel, and the Super Hungry Food Stand, a larger-than-life version of the beloved snack stand from the films.
The grand opening was nothing short of spectacular, with a lively celebration featuring the Minions themselves, alongside Gru and his family. The event culminated in an explosion of yellow balloons and confetti, setting the tone for the fun-filled adventures that await visitors.
Exploring Minion Land: What to Expect
Minion Land is divided into three immersive areas: Minion Marketplace, Gru’s Neighborhood, and Super Silly Fun Land.
Minion Marketplace
Minion fans can shop till they drop at three unique stores, each filled with exclusive merchandise and Minion-themed goodies:
- Sweet Surrender – A candy-lover’s dream with apparel, plush toys, homeware, and confections.

Gru’s Neighborhood
Meet Gru, Lucy, and their adorable daughters – Margo, Edith, and Agnes – in their quirky neighborhood. Thrill-seekers can hop onto Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, a wild ride through Gru’s supervillain laboratory that even transforms guests into Minions!
Adding to the excitement, the Minions take over the streets multiple times a day with their Minute of Minion Mayhem show, featuring high-energy performances and meet-and-greets with beloved characters.
Super Silly Fun Land
Inspired by the seaside carnival in Despicable Me, Super Silly Fun Land is where guests can:
- Spin on the Buggie Boogie carousel while dancing to DJ Carl’s remixed hits.
