You probably already heard, Les Misérables is returning to Singapore in 2026 and tickets are now available for sale!
From 24 March 2026, Les Misérables – The Arena Spectacular will take over the Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands as part of a globe-trotting celebration marking the 40th anniversary of the world’s longest-running musical. This bold new production is an evolution of Les Misérables: The Staged Concert, which captivated over 200 record-breaking audiences in London’s West End.
Unlike any previous version staged here, The Arena Spectacular promises a visually and emotionally charged experience on an epic scale. Featuring over 65 cast and orchestra members, this iteration boasts brand-new set and lighting designs created specifically for larger venues, making it the most ambitious rendition to hit Singapore to date.
The tour kicked off in Belfast in 2024 to rave reviews and is now sweeping through international cities before arriving on our shores. Full casting for the Singapore leg will be announced soon, adding to the growing anticipation.
Based on Victor Hugo’s classic novel, Les Misérables tells a sweeping story of love, revolution, sacrifice, and redemption. With music by Claude-Michel Schönberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer, and original text by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel, this arena version is directed by James Powell and Jean-Pierre Van Der Spuy and brings together a powerhouse creative team responsible for everything from costume design to soundscapes.
