The real question is: where should you go to snap said #ootd shot?

Step out of Ngee Ann City to experience one of the most gorgeous Christmas villages that you can find in Singapore this year! Decked out in dozens of fairy lights and equipped with a Venetian style carousel, you’ll feel as if you’ve been transported to a magical Winter wonderland.

Snap a shot perched on one of the horses, or opt to pose alongside any one of the brightly coloured children’s rides available. You can’t go wrong considering how photogenic the location is, really!

2. Christmas Wonderland

There are opportunities abound to take a great #ootd shot over at Gardens By The Bay’s Christmas Wonderland this year.

With a gorgeous Luminarie Mirror Maze, Santa’s Grotto, and even a Blizzard Session where you’ll be able to experience ‘snow’, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to picking out the best possible spot!

A useful tip? Beat the crowds and arrive there a little early to scope out some spots in advance. Trust us, you’ll thank us once you see the crowds start flooding in around 8pm.

3. ION Orchard Cartier Ferris Wheel

With a beautiful blinged-out Cartier ferris wheel installation right by the entrance, ION Orchard is one of the must-visit spots when it comes to taking a Christmas-themed #ootd this year.

You can’t go wrong with this classic ArtScience Museum shot right by the shimmering lights. Not only is it super festive, it works pretty well for a celebratory New Year shot, too! Talk about killing two birds with one stone, right?

If you’re looking for something a little more standout (and Christmas-esque), don’t worry — the ArtScience Museum has you covered. Head down to their FUTURE WORLD: Where Art Meets Science Exhibit, where there will be a special interactive sketch Christmas installation. How cute!

8. Prudential Marina Bay Carnival

The annual carnival held by Prudential has gotten bigger, brighter and a lot flashier this year. Snap a photo back-lit against all the carnival rides, or maybe along the flashing lights of the game stalls.

With over 50 rides and games available in a single space, we guarantee that you’d be entertained for hours on end. Well, after you’ve gotten the perfect snap for your Instagram feed, of course!

9. Gateway To Space

To the stars and beyond! Junction 8 is all decked out in a space theme this Christmas, with a beautiful starlit path (pictured above) that is prime fodder for some great Instagram shots.

There is a intergalatic VR ride to try out as well— apparently, it spins you 360°, which could make for a interesting photo as well if your photographer is nimble enough. Cool!

10. A Wizarding World Holiday at Changi

Is this real life?! Nope, you don’t have to travel all the way to Orlando to experience the Wizarding World of Harry Potter anymore! Don the familiar Hogwarts robes, grab yourself a wand, and pose at these amazing photo spots located at Changi Airport.
