4. Harmony KTV

cheapest-ktv-studios-singapore-harmony-ktv

Harmony KTV may be located in the rather obscure Sultan Plaza and may look like a regular pub at first glance, but walk in and you’ll be greeted by rooms and rooms of KTV lounges.

So what marks this from the rest, if it’s located in such an obscure area? It goes for a flat rate of SGD 10 per room for 9 whole hours per pax, if you manage to reserve the happy hour timing (from 2PM – 11PM).

That makes it effectively around SGD 1.10 per hour in the room.

Plus, despite its rather plain appearance on the outside, and dark lighting, its songs are pretty updated AND it’s also walking distance from Golden Mile, if you’re hankering for some Mookata Thai BBQ.

P.S. A blogger online also sung praises about Harmony KTV being super flexible about timings – you could go out for a break midway, and come back to continue your 9-hour session without extra charge. That’s a pretty big plus in our books!

Special note: The only downside is that you’re going to need to reserve a room two hours in advance of going there. Plus side? If you’re on the shy side, you can choose to WhatsApp them instead. Also, if you’re looking to book the nightclub hours (11PM – 3AM), contact Andrew only (see below for number).

Price range: SGD 10 per room for both its happy hours (2PM – 11PM) and its nightclub hours (11PM – 3AM)

Opening hours: 2PM – 3AM

With an eye-catching, black-and-white mural that is sure to catch anyone’s eye, Voicebooth is a KTV that specialises in its selection of Korean songs – so if you’re a K-fanatic – this is for you!

But if you’re not so keen on the Korean songs or there’s also a pretty good selection of English and Mandarin songs.

Special features: Apart from it being Korean-centric, what’s special about this place is also that there’re mini-games lying around like Uno, Monopoly, and also crocodile teeth roulette if you’re waiting in line to get a room, or if you’re waiting for that one friend who’s perpetually late.

Price range: from SGD 1 per song, but you can choose to be charged per room, if one song just isn’t enough, starting from SGD 10 per room from Mon – Thurs, and SGD 15 on the weekends, and SGD 20 starting from 6PM onwards.

Apart from its pretty swanky looking KTV lounge, what makes Tang Music Box popular is its good sound quality, as well as its sound-proof walls.

Plus, with a minimum spending of SGD 60 per room, they’re only charging SGD 5 per pax up to five hours, throughout the day.

Special features: Tang Music Box is also interesting in its price system – if you do manage to hit the minimum spending of SGD 60, Tang Music Box will convert that SGD 60 to “credits” that can be spent at their concept store for snacks and drinks.

This essentially means you’re allowed to spend up to SGD 60 on however many snacks and drinks you want, which also means that you and your friends can “recoup” the money spent on paying for the Karaoke room entirely.

A pretty sweet deal, if you ask us!

That means it can go for as low as SGD 1.50 per pax for an hour of K!
