Taiwan-inspired restaurant Wong Fu Fu, which is helmed by a Muslim chef, has opened recently along North Bridge Road.
Just a three-minute walk from Masjid Sultan, the eatery has a Muslim-friendly menu, and is in the midst of getting their Halal certification approved.

At Wong Fu Fu, look forward to Taiwan-style hot plate meals that sizzle when served. These are served either White Rice, Taiwan Egg Fried Rice, Udon, or Spaghetti, along with a choice of one or two Wong Fu Fu’s signature sauces.

The proteins for these hearty meals include everything from Grilled Chicken Leg and Grilled Lamb Chop to Grilled Beef Striploin and Mixed Grilled Seafood.

If these don’t satisfy enough, you can also help yourself to its Mini Buffet Bar, which offers up to 15 different types of Cold and Hot food selections.
AVENUE ONE particularly enjoyed the Marinated Vermicelli with Chilli Oil and Taiwanese Scallion Pancake.
It certainly isn’t “Taiwanese” if there isn’t bubble milk tea. The good news for all BBT-lovers is that Wong Fu Fu also offers bottomless Bubble Milk Tea that you can customise based on your preferences.
The milk tea comes without sugar and you can add your own pearls and any of the nine toppings to your cup, as well as add your desired amount syrup to determine the sweetness.
The DIY Bubble Milk Tea was certainly the part of our meal that we enjoyed the most.
For those who are only craving for bubble tea, Wong Fu Fu also offers the DIY Bubble Milk Tea as an a la carte item, which are available for takeaway.
