Gelato made from tofu? At TOFU G, it’s not just possible, it’s delicious. The newly opened dessert boutique at Mandarin Gallery brings Singapore its first-ever tofu-based gelato, crafted with traditional Korean tofu-making techniques and a focus on clean, mindful indulgence.

Silky Gelato That’s Light and “Clean”
Each scoop here carries a silky richness without the heaviness of dairy, staying true to the brand’s ethos of “clean, mindful, crafted”. Using non-GMO soybeans and natural ingredients, the gelato is vegan-friendly, dairy-free, and full of flavour. The result is a treat that feels nourishing yet utterly satisfying; a proof that dessert can be both wholesome and indulgent.
The lineup includes classics with a twist, like Black Sesame, Chodang Sweet Corn, and Pistachio, alongside comforting Korean-inspired options such as Sweet Potato. My personal favourites? The Pistachio Gelato, with its lush nuttiness and velvety texture, and the Korean Sweet Potato Gelato, which delivers a warm, naturally sweet comfort in every spoonful. But perhaps the most unique is the Original Tofu Gelato. Light, clean, and subtly creamy, it showcases tofu in a way that’s both unexpected and refreshing.
Part of the charm lies in the space itself. Designed like a modern Korean hanok, TOFU G’s interior blends warm wood tones, soft linen, and minimalist lines for a serene, Instagram-worthy setting.
A display of raw ingredients, from soybeans to sesame seeds, reminds you of the brand’s artisanal roots, while the live gelato churning machines ensure each scoop is served at its freshest. Don’t forget to take a photo of the amazing machines!
