If you’ve ever frequented a Starbucks outlet, you’d know that the popular coffee chain is well-known for sending out drinkware and merchandise that many of us like to hoard collect – like the Herschel collab collection for example, or the millennial pink mini luggage from Starbucks Korea.
This year, Starbucks Korea has done it again with its 2021 Year of the Ox collection that we’re just swooning over – just look at how gorgeous it is!
Decked out in cotton candy pink, silver, turquoise and purple, the new year collection comprises products such as mugs, tumblers, thermos bottles, and a cute bovine-inspired pouch.
If you’re not a fan of the saccharine hue, don’t worry because Starbucks Korea thought two steps ahead and created a second collection too!
The second collection features the signature brand colour in various shades, accented with gold and silver to tie up the look.
In addition to the usual drinkware, this elegant-looking collection also consists of a zipped tote bag (which we secretly want) and a keychain featuring the adorable Starbucks Bearista donning a traditional Korean costume.
So, here’s the good news and not-so-good news. The not-so-good news: you probably can’t get your hands on these Starbucks Korea merchandise (unless you or someone you know is travelling to the country for business matters).
The good news: Starbucks Singapore has launched its own Lunar New Year collection and it’s just as charming!
In this part of the world, the colour that best represents the upcoming new year is definitely red so it only makes sense for the bold-coloured series to be launched here.
For the local collection, stand-outs include the bright red mug decorated with a three-dimensional white ox, a teapot and cup for one, as well as sleek white and black tumblers with bovine and floral motifs.
On top of that, you can score decorative items such as a gold-speckled globe and money bank as well. There’s also the iconic Starbucks mascot, Bearista, in a zodiac outfit that we think both adults and children will adore.
But that’s not all… You can get your hands on this enchanting zodiac-inspired music box here too! Priced at S$89.90, the music box – complete with a moving cow figurine – is the perfect desk accessory you need this year.
