Sky22 Offers Upgraded Semi-Buffet Lunch With A View For Under S$30

Sky22, the all-day dining restaurant at Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena, has officially reopened after a revamp, and AVENUE ONE was there to experience it firsthand.

Here’s what we think about it!

Dining With A View

Sky22 is one of those places where the view alone makes the visit worthwhile.

Situated high above the bustling city, it gives you sweeping panoramic views of Singapore — a sight you don’t get to take in every day.

The newly revamped interior is warm and inviting, but I couldn’t take my eyes off the scenery outside. Naturally, I picked a seat by the glass windows.

Enjoying the breathtaking views of the city while indulging in a delicious meal made the whole dining experience at Sky22 feel extra special.

Upgraded Semi-Buffet Lunch

Sky22’s Semi-Buffet Lunch (S$29.50++/pax) has received a delicious upgrade, and I couldn’t wait to dine in.

Chocolate Fondue

The expanded cold buffet station was a treat, offering an endless spread of fresh salads, creamy ice creams, and decadent desserts like assorted Nyonya Kuehs and rich chocolate fondue.

But the real highlight? Definitely the cooked-to-order mains from the weekly rotating menu.

Laksa Lemak
Laksa Lemak

The Laksa Lemak is the perfect blend of spicy and creamy. The rich, coconut-based broth was mouthwatering, carrying just the right amount of spice from the chilli.

Cooked on the spot, the freshness of the ingredients shines through, with each spoonful offering a comforting yet vibrant burst of flavour.

Baked Seabass

Next up, the Baked Seabass in Pesto Sauce was an absolute delight.

The tender, flaky seabass is perfectly complemented by the aromatic pesto sauce, with a subtle lemony tang enhancing the richness of the fish.

Moo Yang

If you’re a fan of zesty flavours, the Moo Yang is perfect for you.

Grilled to perfection, it is deliciously charred on the outside but has tender, juicy meat inside, all complemented by a tangy dipping sauce.

Wagyu Beef Cheek Bourguignon

But the dish that truly stole the show for me was the Wagyu Beef Cheek Bourguignon.

Slow-braised to perfection, the beef cheek was so tender that it practically melted in my mouth, falling apart with the gentlest touch of a fork.

The rich and hearty sauce perfectly complemented the tender meat. It was so good that I had to return for seconds!

For those looking to explore bold yet refined flavours, the modern Asian à la carte menu offers standout dishes that feature fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Crab Cake

The Crab Cake is a must-try, featuring sweet, succulent crab meat paired with crisp locally farmed ice plant for a refreshing contrast.

Szechuan Chicken KouShuiJi

Meanwhile, the Szechuan Chicken Koushuiji elevates the classic spicy crispy chicken, combining tender, flavourful meat with the creamy richness of a locally farmed cage-free onsen egg that perfectly balances the spice.
