Ingredients needed (for half a dozen of mini sandwiches)

  • 3 slices of white bread
  • 20g of butter
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Parsley, chopped
  • Shrimps
  • Cheese, cut into small squares
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of pepper

Preparing the minced shrimps

Step 1: Remove the intestinal tract of the shrimps by making a shallow cut along the length of the black line and carefully lifting it up with the tip of your knife.

Step 2: Chop up all of the shrimps until they are minced and transfer them to a mixing bowl.

Step 3: Add a pinch of salt and pepper to the minced shrimps. Mix evenly before putting the bowl aside.

Preparing the garlic spread

Step 4: Next, you’ll be preparing the garlic spread that will go on the bread of the sandwich. Place 20g of butter in another mixing bowl, and add chopped parsley to it. Then, grate one garlic clove into this mixing bowl.

Step 5: Mash them all together such that the mixture becomes a spread-like texture. You should be able to smell the aroma by now. Once done, you can then put the bowl aside.

Step 6: Remove the crust from all four corners of your white bread, and cut the bread into quarters.

Step 7: Take one of the quarters and spread the minced shrimps on it. Don’t be afraid to be a little more generous with the spreading.

Step 8: Grab the cheese squares and press them right into the middle of the minced shrimps. Make sure it’s tightly enveloped by the minced shrimps because it will be your cheese core, and you wouldn’t want the cheese to ooze out before your guests take a bite!

Step 12: Repeat Steps 7 to 11 to make more mini shrimp sandwiches.

Step 13: Once done, place them in the oven for 15 minutes at 170 degrees Celsius.
