Shake Shack announces that it will open its second outlet in Singapore to the public this Friday, 7 February, at 7.30pm.
The fine casual restaurant first announced the location of their second outlet at 89 Neil Road, where the former Tiger Balm Factory was situated, two months ago.
The restaurant is celebrating the opening of this new outlet with the debut of the Chick’n Shack, a highly anticipated burger that features a crispy 100% all natural and antibiotic-free chicken breast.
The meat is slow-cooked in a creamy buttermilk marinade and crisp-fried, and then topped with shredded lettuce, pickles, and a tangy buttermilk herb mayo. This is served on a pillowy potato roll.
The Chick’n Shack (SGD9.20) will be available at the new outlet from 7 to 9 February, and then also at the Jewel Changi Airport Shack from 10 February onwards.
Besides the new Chick’n Shack, you can also look forward to two new concretes (Shake Shack’s signature frozen custards) that are created based on local flavours, and are exclusive to the 89 Neil Road outlet.
They include the Eye of the Tiger (SGD7.50), which is vanilla custard blended with lychee, raspberry and shortbread topped with lime zest, and the Open Sesame, a vanilla custard blended with black sesame paste and Plain Vanilla brownies, topped with black sesame seeds and gold-dusted chocolate.
In support of the local creative scene, 5% of sales from these concretes will go towards supporting Very Special Arts Singapore (VSA), a non-profit organisation that provides opportunities for the disabled through arts.
The new Shake Shack outlet will open on 7 February at 89 Neil Road, #01-01, SIngapore 088849 from 7.30pm to 12 midnight. Subsequently, it will be open from 11am to 10pm (Sun to Thurs) and 11am to 12 midnight (Fri and Sat).
