Would you pay close to S$3,000 for a tomahawk?

If you’ve been looking for something super indulgent to round up your 2021, Park Grill in Kuala Lumpur has just the thing. For RM8,888 (~S$2,879), the restaurant is offering diners a gold-covered Tomahawk steak complete with Oscietra caviar and Alba winter white truffle flown in all the way from Italy.

A regular Tomahawk steak is apparently too basic for the restaurant, and they’re taking it up a notch. According to an Instagram video by @kl.foodie, this juicy Tomahawk steak is first seasoned with Maldon sea salt and freshly crushed black pepper. It is then flame grilled on at a high of 250°C to 300°C on a josper grill.

As if it wasn’t decadent enough, the Tomahawk steak is then coated with Wagyu Beef Fat, yum! Our mouths are watering at the very thought of it.

You have the option of enjoying this ginormous juicy piece of meat with 1.75 grams of decadent gold leaves or without it. While you can order the regular Park Grill Tomahawk steak at the restaurant, the Golden Tomahawk steak is only available when you pre-order it. When you get the Golden Tomahawk steak, it comes with your very own personal table side chef!

You’ll get a front row seat as you watch him delicately slice up this gorgeous piece of meat. If you want to ultimate indulgent experience, go all out and order the Golden Tomahawk steak with fresh winter white truffle.

Or, if you’re saving that dish for a special occasion, order the Bone Marrow Strozzapreti Pasta instead. The bone marrow just falls off the bone with the gentlest nudge and when combined with the Spicy Ponzu Cream sauce and pasta, it is a match made in heaven.

If that isn’t your thing, go for Park Grill’s Beef Wellington instead. Made with foie gras, beef tenderloin, and mushroom duxelle and wrapped up in a cosy layer of puff pastry, it’s every foodie’s dream come true. This is gently brushed with a layer of egg wash, covered with a layer of fancy lattice pastry, and garnished with some micro thyme – it sounds absolutely delicious.

Alternatively, treat yourself after a long week at the office and order the Signature Park Grill Burger. The Signature Park Grill Burger is made with Mimolette Cheese and is topped with a generous serving of Park Grill’s House Sauce. Complete with not single, not double, but triple cooked fries served on the side, this dish would make anyone’s day.
