One of the top restaurants in Latin America, Osaka, is coming to Singapore in a week-long pop-up held at NAMI Restaurant & Bar .
Osaka is an internationally acclaimed Nikkei restaurant that is recognised as one of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2018. This is its debut appearance in Asia and Singapore.

The pop-up will showcase the unique Nikkei cuisine – a marriage between Japanese and Peruvian cultures – which is appreciated for its exuberant flavours and is gaining popularity among gourmands across the globe.

You can expect a multi-sensory experience at this pop-up, as Osaka’s culinary team merges millenary Japanese techniques with the best Peruvian flavours and specially flown-in Latin American produce in a 7-course “Nikkei Experience” dinner tasting menu at $188++ per
person.

The 7-course menu includes:
Nikkei Ceviche: Scallops, white fish, daikon, wasabi sauce
Inka Nigiri Duo: Tuna tataki, yellow chilli “leche de tigre”, crispy quinoa. Soy & Pisco braised pork jowl
Chirashi Black Causa: King Crab tartare, shrimp, avocado, ikura, Peruvian mashed potato
Tako Anticucho: Charcoal grilled octopus skewers, Nikkei chimichurri, limo chilli pepper
Nitsuke Criollo: Braised boneless short ribs, “lomo saltado” bbq sauce, kabocha-yuzukosho, crispy quino
Lima Yuki: Lulo gel, muña mint granita, tapioca, pisco
Suspiro Perú: Soursop sorbet, lemongrass dulce de leche, Amazonian chocolate crumbs

Osaka Cocina Nikkei Pop-Up will be held between 21 and 27 January, from 6pm to 10pm. It is held at NAMI Restaurant and Bar, located on level 24 of The Tower Wing of Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore.
