An Insta-worthy gourmet burger place just opened in town and they’re having an exclusive opening promotion

We’re always on the lookout for new food places, and this time, we found a gourmet burger place. Out of the Bun, better known as OOTB, has opened its first outlet at GR.ID, and debuts five burger items on their menu.

This burger joint is super Insta-worthy with its brightly coloured neon signs and beautiful food-themed artwork that acts as a feature wall. This backdrop will be good for all your Instagram food shots and selfie shots.

They even have a neon slogan hung on the walls saying, “Skinny people are easier to kidnap. Stay safe, eat burgers.” How cute!

Gourmet burgers done right

Classic Cheese

The Classic Cheese features handcrafted soft buns, a premium beef patty, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, OOTB’s secret sauce, cheese, caramelised onions, and in-house dill pickles.

This burger is not like any other cheeseburger that you’ve eaten, and it’s definitely worth a try.

The Classic Cheese burger costs S$12.90.

Thic Chick

The Thic Chick is best suited for someone who loves to eat chicken burgers instead of beef ones.

It has a brined, drenched, and fried chicken thigh covered in chipotle sauce, with sweet tangy slaw and in-house dill pickles as your vegetables. All of these ingredients are sandwiched between two handcrafted soft buns.

The Thic Chick retails for S$10.90.

Tindle Chick

She comes battered and fried, with fresh lettuce and tomatoes to balance the flavours out, along with chipotle sauce, sweet-tangy slaw, and candied pineapples.

The Tindle Chick is available for S$16.90.

Pulled Chick

Have you ever tried pulled chicken? If you haven’t, do try out OOTB’s Pulled Chick burger.

Their shredded chicken is slow cooked for 24 hours just so you can have that juicy pull. The pulled chicken is topped off with OOTB’s secret sauce, fresh lettuce, and sweet-tangy slaw for that sweet and savoury experience.

The Pulled Chick burger costs S$11.90.

IM Possible

If you’re looking for a plant-based option, OOTB offers it too! That’s right, this burger joint is vegan-friendly. Check out their IM Possible burger which is just like their Classic Cheese burger, but with the beef patty swapped out for Impossible Meat.

This is priced slightly more expensive, but it’s understandable since products with Impossible meat usually cost more. And besides, if you think about how much you’re going to savour the burger after you’ve ordered it, it’s all going to be worth it.

The IM Possible burger costs S$16.90.

Other items on the menu

Of course, no burger is complete without fries and a drink. Make your burgers a meal simply by topping up S$3 and you’ll get to choose one side and one drink. The sides available include: Coleslaw, French Fries, Cajun Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, and Waffle Fries.

As for drinks, you have your usual soft drinks like Coke, 100 Plus, Green Tea, Ayataka, and Ginger Ale. However, we would recommend paying an additional S$5 to try OOTB’s Kombucha. There are five flavours in total, and they’re bound to increase your appetite before your meal. It will also serve as a good detox after what you’ve had.

The flavours for the Kombucha are ABC (Apple, Beetroot, Carrot), Apple Ginger, Chrysanthemum & Goji Berries, Passion Fruit, and Original.

OOTB even sells a Truffle Dip for an additional S$1.20 if you’re looking for that aromatic pairing for your fries.

End the day off with a sinful dessert of Churros with chocolate sauce. These golden brown sticks of paradise dipped in hot and sweet chocolate sauce will be the best way to finish off a meal.

Exclusive promotion

Since this is OOTB’s first ever outlet, they are having an opening promotion from now till 19 December. Simply follow them on their Instagram page (@ootbsg) and you’ll get 10% off the entire menu.
