It’s that time of the year again — to get dressed in red and white, collect fancy goodie bags, and have the melody to Home by Kit Chan stuck in our heads on repeat. National Day is almost here, and although there won’t be a central parade this year, there’s no reason why we can’t still celebrate (in a gathering of at most five people, of course).
That’s why we’ve prepared this list of 16 restaurants with National Day menu items to order in from or dine at. If there’s anything we Singaporeans are good at, it’s knowing how to have a good feast. Let the merriment begin!
1. Blue Jasmine
Blue Jasmine may be an authentic Thai eatery, but they’ve shown they know a thing or two about fusion food as well. Check out their Nasi Lemak Set (SGD48), which serves four pax. The set features crispy Thai wings, Cha Om eggs (omelet with acacia leaves), Thai Asparagus with Shrimp Paste and Thai Hor Mok (curry fish custard likened to otak).
They also offer a Roast Chicken Rice Family Set (SGD48) for four, which comes with Boneless Roasted Chicken Thigh, Wok-fried Mixed Vegetables, Thai-style Otah (4 pcs), Steamed Lemongrass Flavoured Rice, Thai Agar-agar, House Made Chilli and condiments.
With every set meal purchased, Blue Jasmine will throw in one complimentary DIY Singapore Sling! Alternatively, you can request for a Virgin Singapore Sling (non-alcoholic) instead. Click here to have their set meals delivered right to your doorstep.
