Known for its comforting local fare and faithful renditions of Malaysian classics, the brand has earned a loyal following since its first Singapore outlet opened in 2022. Now, diners in Jurong can indulge in outlet-exclusive creations and special collaborations that elevate familiar favourites to something extraordinary.

The real star of the show is the Ah Ge Li Nanxing collaboration, which brings the veteran actor’s personal touch to two Hae Bee Hiam dishes. The Hae Bee Hiam XO Penang Char Kway Teow with Double Egg is a a personal favourite: fragrant, umami-packed, and richer than the usual char kway teow thanks to a second egg that adds a velvety texture.

Equally impressive, the Ah Ge Fried Bee Hoon with Tiger Prawns blends sweet, spicy, and savoury in a harmonious dance, with the prawns providing a satisfying crunch that complements the fiery sambal. These are truly must-tries for anyone visiting the new outlets.

Noodle lovers are equally spoiled. The Sarawak Kolo Mee, exclusive to the Jurong outlets, is among the most delicious I’ve tasted; al dente, springy, and tossed in fragrant shallot oil that lets the natural flavours shine.

Meanwhile, the KL Pan Mee, which is another exclusive to the West outlets, surprises with its lighter, nuanced taste, balancing the boldness of dried chilli, garlic, and dried shrimp without overwhelming the palate.

Beyond noodles, Nan Yang Dao’s menu also pays homage to other local favourites. The Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng Berempah hits all the right notes: fragrant coconut rice, a perfectly spiced fried chicken, and an assortment of accompaniments that make each bite comforting and satisfying. The Mee Siam with Curry Chicken is another highlight, a clever fusion of tangy, spicy, and sweet that lingers pleasantly.

For dessert, the Chendol is delightfully refreshing, with just the right balance of sweetness and coconut creaminess to round off a hearty meal. Drinks are also worth a mention; classic choices like the Three-layer Coffee with Chin Chow deliver a smooth, indulgent experience, perfect for pairing with the rich, flavourful dishes.

The two new Nanyang Dao outlets are located at #01-15/16 Jurong Point and #04-27 JEM.
