The Marmalade Pantry x Petite Fleur Floral Boxes
In celebration of Mother’s Day, The Marmalade Pantry has also collaborated with local florist, Petite Fleur to bring you a flower arrangement and chocolate gift set. You can pick from two unique flower arrangements – Pink Marvel (S$156+) which consists of mostly pink hues from a mix of preserved flowers and The Queen’s Blossom (S$210+) which was exclusively arranged for The Marmalade Pantry, consisting of fresh flowers and a one-of-a-kind bottle of Sandara Chardonnay & Sake. The Set Menu
Look forward to a specially curated four-course set dinner that starts with tenderly blanched Octopus, served with savoury olives, buttery potato mash and celery. Followed by a perfectly al dente Risotto that is made with a light house-made duck stock and carnaroli rice, layered with slices of house-smoked duck breasts and topped with chunks of foie gras. For the mains, have the option of picking either the freshly pan-seared crispy Sea Bass or the hearty Gnocchi that is served with a tomato and aged parmesan sauce. At the end of all the goodness, end off your meal with a lightly bittersweet Green Tea Cake that is enriched with kidney beans and coconut.

The Afternoon Tea

3. Pan Pacific Singapore, Hai Tien Lo
Indulge in Cantonese delicacies over at Singapore’s award-winning Cantonese restaurant, Hai Tien Lo, for all the home-cooked comfort food feels. Some dishes to try from the Loving Home Mother’s Day menu include the Sautéed Sliced Beef with Kai Lan in oyster sauce, tender Stewed Suck with fragrant yam in fermented beancurd sauce served in a claypot, and wok-fried Chinese Ramen with seafood and sakura shrimps.

Inspired by three strong maternal figures in Head Chef Andrea De Paola’s life, be sure to taste various heartwarming dishes that hit the spot.
Featuring three main dishes that were inspired by the chef’s grandmother, mother, and mother-in-law respectively, the meal begins with the first course of Melanzana, a classic parmigiana Italian dish that is served with roasted eggplant, smoked caciocavallo, confit tomatoes, and pickled basil with a caramelised veneer and crisp edges. Following that is a flavoursome Spaghetti, topped with rich monkfish ragout and peppery rucola pesto. The meal ends the final main that honours the chef’s mother-in-law – Merluzzo, comprises black cod, confit scampi, and saffron cacciucco, made with a luscious seafood bisque.
To wrap it all up is a dessert that represents the trio of motherly figures present in the Chef’s life. Mummies have all been working very hard, so this nourishing Cantonese feast at Yàn will definitely be a treat for them. Exclusively for dine-in, enjoy either a six or eight-course set menu that consists of various dishes that warms the heart. Some signature dishes include the Steamed black cod fillet with cordyceps flower and mandarin peel as well as the Chicken broth with mee sua and fish maw.
