We rounded up a list of mooncakes you’d actually want to buy. Peek into the best of the lot as well as exclusive offers!

Although Mid-Autumn Festival isn’t a public holiday here in Singapore, it’s certainly not so out of the common to see malls decked out with warm lanterns and a vibrant construction of Chinese decor whenever the season rolls around.

From myriads of makeshift stores set up in basement halls touting unique moon-shaped treats, resembling a mini food festival in itself, to catching the occasional waft of the sweet-smelling bean paste, it’s safe to say that Singaporeans take this tradition very seriously!

However, things are looking a little different this year with measures in place to curb the spread of Covid-19 but, fret not! Whether you’re looking to purchase some of these indispensable treats to gift, or simply exploring the seemingly never-ending options of flavours, AVENUE ONE has rounded up some of the best mooncakes deals for you to enjoy safely from home!

1. Mooncakes that are great as gifts

To start us off, we have Yàn marking this annual celebration with an exquisite signature collection of five traditional mooncakes and a snowskin creation this year.

Arriving in sets of four, some of these include the fragrant White Lotus Paste Mooncake (S$66) with the option of double yolk for that extra savoury oomph, as well as the White Lotus with Macadamia Nuts (S$64).

Look forward to the highly anticipated Thousand Layer Yam Mooncake (S$66) as well, with its delicate swirls of pastry coating enclosing a delectable sweet yam filling. Available plain or single yolk (S$68). We can’t wait to sink our teeth in its crisp and fragrant layers!

Choose from any of Yàn’s traditional mooncakes to finish off this tailor-made token of appreciation. Vibrant parcels available for paired purchases as well.
