This 6-course meal is a viral sensation around the world and it’s coming to Singapore!

If bed time stories are for children, then adults are here for dinner time stories – and what more if it involves a fire-breathing dragon on your plate?

We’re talking about the best of theatre dining featuring the world’s smallest chef, Le Petit Chef! The viral sensation who’s travelled across the world including Shanghai, Dubai, and London, is due to arrive back in Singapore for the second time. Cutting-edge 3D mapping, optical illusions and compelling story-telling is used in this two-hour long visual and culinary treat, where the 58mm-tall chef virtually battles creatures and braves the heat as he prepares food before your eyes while journeying across oceans and continents.

This fine-dining experience consists of a theatrical six-course dinner inspired by Marco Polo’s journey across the famous Silk Road in the 13th century. A complete sensory treat is guaranteed as the story-telling is creatively done using flavours, sights, sounds, and tastes.

Are you a lazy, yet inquisitive traveller? Then this is the ultimate trip for you as you won’t have to move an inch while you’re whisked along an unforgettable ride from Marseilles to the Arabian Peninsula and across the Himalayas to China. Soundtracks and scents will allow you to breathe the icy air of the Himalayas and feel the sweltering heat of an Arabic souk as the familiar story unfolds before your eyes. Your tiny holographic chef will give the performance of his life right there on your tablecloth, as you enjoy delectable dishes in the company of exotic birds and fire-breathing dragons that float over your plates.

The six-course menu in ‘Marco Polo’s Journey’ will include earthy Kebabs and Falafels, aromatic curries, Chinese classics, and fusion desserts showcasing the finest flavours from Polo’s historical stops in the Middle East, India, China and, of course, from Le Petit Chef’s own home town in Western France.

Opt for the fancier version of this dining experience, ‘Marco Polo’s Expedition’ for premium items such as lobster and caviar with a top up of SGD100. There are even Vegan options and a child-friendly menu so you can bring the whole family.

We recommend going slightly before the show starts so you can enjoy the complimentary welcome cocktail or mocktail by National Championship bartenders at mezza9’s award-winning party room and martini bar, La Cave, at Grand Hyatt Singapore.

While cameras are aplenty during this experience, you might want to sit back and enjoy this unforgettable dining experience that even Marco Polo might approve of.
