Salted egg fish skin specialist Irvins launches salted egg instant noodle and it’s going viral on the internet

When it comes to salted egg snacks, the first brand that likely comes to mind is Irvins, which needs little introduction.

After all, it’s the purveyor of salted egg fish skin snacks that have sent Singaporeans – and tourists alike – into a frenzied obsession over these addictive munchies.

Now, Irvins is back in the news again for something entirely unique. Yes, it’s still related to salted egg (duh!) but this time, Irvins has teamed up with Japanese food company Nissin Foods to roll out a Salted Egg Instant Noodle Bowl!

This isn’t just any salted egg noodle – it’s the perfect combination of mee pok noodles and mouth-watering salted egg seasoning topped with spring onions and crispy egg crumbs.

With a description like that, any foodie would find it hard to resist!

Much like the salted egg-coated fish skin snacks, the instant noodle is winning netizens over and we can totally see why.

Currently, the NISSIN x IRVINS Salted Egg Instant Noodle Bowl (S$2.95) is sold out due to overwhelming demand.

However, you may be able to get lucky and bring one home if you visit any of the supermarkets near you because some locals have shared that they spotted the newly launched product at Cold Storage and NTUC Fairprice.

Alternatively, you can submit your email on the official Irvins website and wait to be notified once the new stock arrives.

What do you think of this new instant noodle flavour? Would you give it a shot?
