16 group-friendly restaurants in Singapore for big groups and big appetites

Now that everything has reopened, we’ve been meeting up with our whole squad for in-person gatherings. Finding a good restaurant that caters to larger groups, however, hasn’t exactly been a walk in the park.

Whether it’s brunch, lunch, or dinner, it can be tough to find a communal dining spot with huge tables and sharing platters for everyone. To accommodate everyone, we’ve gathered 15 group-friendly restaurants for your next big group outing.

1. Beast & Butterflies

If you’re looking for a buzzing social space at the lively Robertson Quay area, Beast & Butterflies is probably one of the best restaurants to bring your pals to.

Dedicated to bringing people together with food and drinks, the restaurant offers both a cosy indoor space and an alfresco dining experience with the iconic Singapore River as a backdrop, so that you can truly chill out with your friends over great conversations, food, and ambience.

Enjoying a dining spot that seems to check off everything on the check-list doesn’t have to break the bank. A two-course lunch here is priced at only S$16 (available from Monday to Friday, 11.30am to 3pm); you can choose between having a salad or a soup, followed by the main course. Add on a dessert if you’d like to be a little indulgent that day.

If you’re visiting at night, which we highly recommend because of the amazing energy and ambience then, dinner will be just as satisfying.

Beast & Butterflies offers a large selection on its menu, ranging from Western to Asian cuisine, so no matter how large your group is, everyone’s bound to find something they enjoy.

The latter, on the other hand, is served in the shape of a butterfly – a delectable dish to go for if you also care for taking Instagram-worthy photos.

There’s also a curated wine list serving premium wines from around the world you can pick for. Let’s just say, it’s the perfect setting for a tipple or two.

Beast & Butterflies is running a few promotions at the time of writing, including:
