On days that we are working from home, some of us just opt for a simple meal fix that we can easily make at home. Alternatively, we just head to our nearby coffeeshops to buy some food. Either way, it’s usually a simple meal. But what if you’re craving something more? What if you’re craving something like a quiche, but you don’t want to spend the additional money on delivery?
Well, if you own an airfryer at home, it’s time for you to check out this easy airfryer quiche recipe that we learnt from Apeakfood. This will have you enjoying a decadent quiche in just 10 minutes!
One-pot dish: Quiche
This quiche is a one-pot dish, so it’s definitely going to be way easier to make than other dishes. Plus, since you can just dump all the ingredients into one pot, the preparation and the clean-up will be minimal, making it perfect for beginners and those who are in a rush.
The main ingredients in this quiche recipe are eggs, pesto, hotdogs, and cherry tomatoes. Of course, you can also tweak the recipe and add in whatever you prefer to the quiche according to your own tastebuds.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 Gardenia Original Wrap
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of pesto
- 1 hotdog
- 4 cherry tomatoes
- Dash of mixed herbs, black pepper, and garlic powder
- Mozzarella cheese
- Vegetable oil
- Seaweed flakes (optional)
Step 1: Slice the hotdog and cherry tomatoes into bite-sized portions.
Step 2: Grease the baking tray with vegetable oil.
Step 3: Place the Gardenia wrap into the baking tray to form a bowl-like structure. This will form the pastry crust of your quiche.
Step 4: Add the eggs, pesto, hotdog slices, and cherry tomatoes.
Step 5: Season the dish with a dash of mixed herbs, black pepper, and garlic powder. No mixing is required.
Step 6: Now for the final touch, add a handful of mozzarella cheese on the top. You can choose to add more if you’re a huge lover of cheese!
Step 7: Air-fry it for 10 minutes in the airfryer at 180°C.
And you’re done! It’s that simple. If you would like to give it extra flavour, you can also choose to top the quiche off with seaweed flakes, but this is entirely optional.
With this, you’ll be able to enjoy some cafe food from the comfort of your own home in just 10 minutes. You can even make this for breakfast to enjoy with a cup of coffee before work, or make this as a snack in between lunch and dinner as it is relatively a light meal.
