COCA Laksa Hotpot Set review

coca laksa premium broth

The laksa soup came warm, so it heat up very quickly; most importantly it was fragrant and additive. Fresh laksa leaves are provided for you to add to the pot so it really tasted like the soup was freshly made before you.

The second soup base we had – Double Boiled Treasure – was also delicious. In fact, one of my dining companions who usually doesn’t enjoy soup couldn’t stop himself from going for a second helping of it.

Of the ingredients, I really enjoyed the Fishball with Roe and Shrimp Wonton. The meats are also fresh and well-marinated so they were delectable.

While the star of the show was the laksa soup base, what turned out surprisingly good were the Mala Fried Rice and Mala Fish Skin. The culinary team certainly didn’t stint on the amount of spices used to prepare these two dishes; there was indeed a kick from their spiciness, and was an absolute treat for those who enjoy fiery foods.

The delivery-only Laksa Hotpot Set was able to satisfy four people with moderate appetites very well and for its price, is an affordable treat for stay-at-home rainy days (or really, any day). And the best thing about having it delivered to your house is that you can even add in your own ingredients into the hotpot.
