Insta-worthy decor

Given how busy your lives are, it’s not always easy to meet up with your friends. As such, it’s always nice to capture a few photo memories so that you guys have something to look back to in the future.

Thankfully, Citrus by the Pool offers Insta-worthy decor, like big neon signs all around the cafe, a flower feature wall, and a corner filled with items and snacks commonly found back in our childhood.

Yummy food to enjoy

Of course, the looks of the cafe is not the only important thing. Good food is a must when it comes to gatherings, and Citrus by the Pool doesn’t disappoint.

It even takes it a level higher by ensuring that all dishes served are plated as aesthetically as possible, so that you can take lots of shots for the gram.

One of the bestsellers includes the Tom Yum Seafood Pasta, which is tangy, spicy, and zesty at the same time, providing a refreshing experience. It comes with large prawns, squid, and mussels, at a pocket-friendly price of just S$10.99.

If you’re looking for something a little more classic instead of fusion, the Halal-certified cafe offers authentic Thai food like Phad Thai with Prawn, Thai Basil Chicken Rice, green curry, and Tom Yum soup.

Feeling peckish even after your meal? Order their special croffles (croissant + waffle) for a great way to end the day. They offer four flavours, but many people choose to go for the Speculoos Croffle. And looking at the photos, it’s not difficult to tell why.

The croffle is drenched in caramel sauce, with crushed speculoos biscuits sprinkled all over. And to top it off, a speculoos cookie is placed on top of the croffle. Sink your teeth into this treat and savour the sweetness of it. Don’t forget to take photos before you do that though!

Those who prefer a drink as opposed to dessert will be glad to know that Citrus by the Pool offers milkshakes that are just as pretty. Try their OTT milkshakes like the Gummy Pop or the Cookie Top, which are flavoured milkshakes with a big scoop of ice cream placed right on top for that extra creaminess and goodness.

They also have the Caramel Popcorn Milkshake, which has 600ml of milkshake, with caramel popcorn and ice cream as its topping.
